Ugh! I have big lips, a small nose, and weird ears. There are lots of thing we call flaws, and if we don't point them out then most times others do. But we hardly take time to recognize that these truly aren't flaws, these things are what distinguish personality, and individuality, they make us who we are. They make me different and stand out from others. We usually take this negatively but it shouldn't be, most times people are drawn to unique, and different people because they see past our imperfection or they see them as improvements that enhance our appearance.
Another misconception that I've noticed is that teen girls seem to think that makeup makes them beautiful or that guys won't notice them , if they don't wear it. When this is the total opposite. I see a lot of girls with a glob of blush, and eyeliner, and mascara, on and it looks so dark and unapproachable, when really I think they want to be noticed and look older, but it has the total opposite affect. Makeup isn't what makes you beautiful but it enhances the god given beauty you already have. Now I'm not anti makeup it does have it's place, but when you wear it to young or to heavy it doesn't ever look right in my opinion(which is subject to change). 13yrs and up is the right age to wear heavy eye/face makeup any younger is not mature enough,( now if you already wear makeup and am younger than 12 I'm not judging you or saying your not mature ).

Following you back! You are so right - makeup doesn't make you beautiful! It's whats in your heart that really makes you gorgeous! ♥
ReplyDeleteI like your ‘about me’ cause I can’t stand it when people think I’m going to act a certain way, be a certain way, or think a certain way because I was home schooled. I love proving people wrong!
