The Importance of a Great Fragrance

Choosing a scent is like picking out the perfect scoop of ice cream there are thousands of flavors and all of taste good but only one will be perfect for that day. Here, are some helpful hints to make the hunt easier.

What different aromas say

Florals

Flowers like rose, lily, tuberose, and gardenia ha historiacally been associated with love and femininity. That means people associate these scent with romance.

Tip: Shop in the morning. your nose is less tired from sniffing all day and is'nt saturated with other smells.

Orientals & Musks

Intense notes-such as sandalwood, amber, and musk stand out because they're exotic. As a result people associate these scent with mystery.

Tip: Don't eat spicy foods the night before browsing. They can make a scent smell more intense than it should on your skin.

Citrus & Fruits

Fruit scents can boost your mood since they're lively and energizing. Also aromas like berry, apple, orange and peach send out positive vibes.

A Fragrance can be final touch or can make an outfit. If you choose the wrong scent you can totally wreck your whole look.

Not all potions are created equal

Eau de parfum
Because they contain a high concentration of perfume oil, eau de parfums are very intense

Solid perfume
These balm-like formulas have a viscous texture, so they actually stick to your skin, which makes them last.

Eau de toilette
If you want a scent to be subtle, go with an eau de toilette-they have a low concentration on perfume oil.

Body cream
Layer a scented cream with a similar-smelling perfume to maximize it;s barely-there payoff.

Roller-ball perfume
Roller-ball fragrances are applied directly to the body, which allows them to be absorbed and released quickly.

Scented hair mist
Hair mists have the potency of a fragrance, but they're specially formulated not to damage your beautiful hair.

Body spray
Body sprays leave a thin layer of fragrance on the skin, so they're a great way to freshen post workout.

Body powder
It's one of the softest, lightest forms of scent.Rub it onto your arms and legs after toweling off from the shower.

Mezmerizing Eyes

Eyes are a fantastic  feature to focus on as you shift your beauty thinking.Every color, every shape, at every stage -eyes have a an irresistible beauty all on their own. By refining your approach to eye make up, you can supercharge your whole face. believe it!

A frequent question I hear is," How do I make my eye color pop?"

"Opposites attract" is my advice when enhancing eye to look dazzling, and alive. By choosing shadows, liners, and mascara that contrasts  with your eye color, you turn up the voltage of your irises for  electrifying beauty.Whether your eyes are blue, green, brown,or hazel big or small using opposing makeup colors will always make them stand out.

"To give your lashes the best definition possible, use an eye lash curler before applying mascara. Wipe the mascara wand first with a tissue to remove any excess product."

"Now remember there are no sure fire rules; the following are only suggestions to help you enhance your eyes. Play with the opposites attract rule, and pay attention to the compliments sure to follow!

Brown eyes

Play with deep shades of navy and sapphire smudged into the lash line for a subtle edge that is alluring but not over the top. When using blue eyeliner, follow with a neutral lid colors like soft shimmering browns and bronze for a modern look. Brown-eyed girls can also have a lot of fun with shades of green.Experiment with a turquoise and emerald to discover what really sparkles on you.

Blue eyes

Smudge on shades of chocolate  brown, taupe, or bronze to make the blue really come alive. Blue shadows compete with your natural color, so play to the positive by skipping blue hues.

Green eyes

Try eyeliner or shadows in eggplant, purple, burgundy, lavender or amethyst. The contrast of colors you the hottest emerald look.

Hazel eyes

Hazel eyes look incredible when paired with green shadow. My personal favorite is a sparkling forest green applied across the lid and under the lash line. This shade deepens the brown tones while bringing up the green.
